Fulham's Paul Konchesky says there will be no "divided loyalties" when he faces West Ham United on Saturday.

The 26-year-old defender, who supported the Hammers as a boy and helped them avoid relegation last season, moved to Craven Cottage in the summer.

He told Fulham's official website: "There's no doubt we can get a result on Saturday."

"I think the players here are up for a fight, whereas West Ham know they're not going to get relegated and I think they'll be happy with a top 10 finish."

"We know we need to win and we'll go out all guns blazing."

Konchesky, who made 59 appearances for West Ham, believes the Fulham supporters have an important role to play in the potential victory.

He added: "If the fans get behind us like they did against Villa who knows what can happen? Hopefully we can get three points and our season can start then."
