The midfielder is currently on the sidelines after suffering a
knee injury in the victory over Manchester United in December.
Parker has made must nine starts and one sub appearance since joining from Newcastle United
for 7 million pounds last summer.
It was thought that Parker would be ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, but Curbishley
says the former Magpies and Charlton Athletic man will be back in action in six weeks.
"Contrary to stories this week, Scotty Parker is about a month or six weeks away," Curbishley
told the club's official website.
