The likes of Robert Green and Matthew Upson have enjoyed impressive
campaigns to date and Curbishley says Capello's arrival could give them fresh hope of increased involvement in the England
set-up.
"They've got a clean slate with Capello coming in," Curbishley told the club's official website.
"Everybody should be looking and thinking if 'I play well, I've got a chance'."
"We're in a situation now where he goes on what he sees. That's what Sven (Goran Eriksson)
did and perhaps that's what Capello will do regarding all the positions."
